Poster - ATK

Do I understand the criteria

There are some practical issues to keep in mind when starting to create your poster.  You will need to consider carefully the requirements and/or guidelines given to you, as failure to follow directions is likely to be seen as easily avoidable and therefore unlikely to be excused with regard to marking.   Make sure you understand what you are being asked to accomplish.  If you are unsure, contact your tutor/lecturer for clarification.

Common practical issues to weigh when preparing to create your poster include:

  • Number of words required
  • Type of spacing to use
  • Number of sources you are required to cite
  • Types of information formats to use and cite (e.g. books, journals, websites, etc.)
  • Referencing style required

The practical criteria for your poster should be made available through your course modules or tutors.
