IBIS World is the key Business and related database that is offered at UoS.
The database has a wide range of industry reports, statistics and data, including information relating to Brexit impact statements. Even though it is primarily focused on the business and related subjects such as Events and Tourism Management, it is of use in other areas of the university, such as health and for careers and employability.
On 1st May, Emma Fowler, who is the account manager for IBIS World presented to the Suffolk Business School, and gave a demonstration of this product and provided some insight into how this product could further be embedded with modules, and certainly provided food (and cake!) for thought. Students and staff were also invited to a 'drop in' session where Emma answered specific questions relating to the database.
Take a look at IBIS World, on the A-Z of eResources or clicking on the link below. If you would like further information about how to use this product, please contact Craig Martin, Academic Liaison Librarian.
