Learning on Screen | Box of Broadcasts Downtime 23 June 2017

We have been made aware of some downtime required for the BoB services, please see system message below:

At the end of this week we will be implementing a fix to a bug that has caused playback problems for some BoB users due to compatibility issues with some browsers. This should greatly improve load times across affected browsers, including Internet Explorer, Edge and Chrome. The fix will require some downtime for the BoB service on Friday 23rd but is scheduled to take place between 7 am and 9 am so as to keep any inconvenience to an absolute minimum.
In doing this however please note that we will have to restrict support for Internet Explorer to the most current version, IE 11,  as Microsoft ended its support for all previous versions of the browser after 12 January 2016. For anyone still using older versions of the browser, it will be necessary to upgrade to IE 11 or Edge.
