New Appointment Booking Page

Following consultation and feedback we have made changes to the booking pages that allow for one-to-one appointments.

The page now asks the student what type of support they are after.  A list of available support from each of the teams within Learning Services is available to browse, the user can then choose to book the appropriate team member.  As well as viewing the support from each team, it is also possible to read a bit more about each of the team members.

The biggest change we have made to the booking process involves seeing available time slots.  Previously users have had to select their appropriate advisor based on their subject, if this advisor was unavailable, the user could choose to manually check the time slots of other advisors.  This is potentially time consuming and not all users chose to do this.

Now there is a 'No Preference' option, this will search all of the advisors for Academic Advisors or Librarians availability, making the process much simpler.

We also now ask users to complete an online form if they are unable to make appointment for the day/time that they would like.  We are hoping this tracking will allow us to find any days/times that are problematic.
