Resources & Facilities

Library staff are happy to assist all library users in finding material, and using the online catalogue.  This can be done via the Library helpdesk or for help with more in-depth searches, our Subject Librarians are here to help . We also have public access catalogues which can be used to locate material. Both of these catalogues has been specifically designed on a low-level counter.
If you need help collecting resources from the shelves, please ask a member of the team to help you.

Students with individual support arrangements are eligible for extended loans. This means that you are able to borrow one week loans for a two week period and three week loans for four weeks. All other loan periods remain the same.

Study Space

The Library has a range of study environments to support all study needs. Although the HE area of the library is down some steps we can open the fire exit for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

Assistive technology and equipment

All the desktop computers in the library and learning zones have Read&Write assistive technology on them . The Library also has some headphones which can be borrowed for use in the Library to help you use this software.

There is a adjustable height desk available in the drop in zone for those that may require one. If you need to reserve this please speak to a member of library staff.
