The aims of this workshop are to make sure the attendees are able to leave with an understanding of:
How to be a reflective learner with the use of technology
The difference between reflecting publically and privately
What’s available here at University of Suffolk to offer a private reflective space
By the end of the session students will:
Understand what reflection and being a reflective learner is
Identify its potential to enhance their learning experience, discussing a number of tools.
Gain practical experience of using Mahara
The session will include the following
Open discussion to gather the thoughts and ideas of the group.
Create a Mahara account.
Using Mahara create a private journal entry about something you have learnt over the past week at University of Suffolk
