Workshop Aims and Outcomes

Aim

To enable students to find, attribute and reference images in their work.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session students will:

  • How to find free to use and share images from the internet

  • Be able to attribute images found on the internet.

  • Be able to reference images accurately

Outline of session

The session will include the following

  • An overview of the different types of digital image

  • Searching the internet for free to use and share images

  • Introduction to Creative Commons licenses

  • How to attribute images

  • How to reference images
