Presentation - ATK

Whether you use presentation software or technology (see Section 6.1 Presentation tools and software) or stand in front of your audience and deliver your presentation without any visual aids, it is important to consider the amount of content you intend to include in your presentation with regard to overall creation and design.

Some issues to consider include:

  • Do NOT include all of your notes
  • Do NOT put too much information on the screen/slide/visual aid
  • Just give keywords and ideas
  • Refrain from only recounting data, facts and developments
  • Remember that you aren't exploring your topic in its entirety- limit your scope and concentrate on a specific aspect appropriately
