Library Assistant

I currently work for UOS Library as an Evening & Weekend Library Assistant, having joined in June 2021. My role includes support for students & staff as well as a range of administrative tasks and general tasks around the library.

As a Library Assistant, my priority is to help the students and staff, so feel free to get in contact via email, phone, text message, chat, or face to face at one of the desks.

When I’m not helping students, my tasks include updating reading lists, stacking shelves, scanning, printing, and binding documents, as well as performing general stock management.

I have previously worked in both retail and tourism, spending one summer working at the National Railway Museum as an undergraduate. I also occasionally lecture in Film Studies at the university, having published a reworked version of my PhD thesis as a monograph, The Art of Czech Animation, in 2020.
