The University's commitment to the delivery of a high quality academic experience for our students is coupled with a commitment to ensuring that all staff, where appropriate have HEA Fellowship. This includes all academic staff, and those in professional services directorates who work in roles which directly impact the success and achievement of our students, for example, Learning and Teaching Librarians, Careers Advisors, Academic Skills Advisors, Learning Designers and Technical Learning Instructors.
We offer direct award of fellowship at levels D1 Associate Fellow (AFHEA), D2 Fellow (FHEA) and D3 Senior Fellow (SFHEA). Staff wishing to apply for Principal Fellow (PFHEA) should apply directly to AdvanceHE.
To support the development of skills, knowledge and confidence in the criteria for each level of fellowship, we have mapped our Learning Teaching and Assessment aligned staff development to each of the criteria in the UKPSF.
