Welcome to the Google Drive guide

This guide outlines basic information for using Google Drive applications, including:

Google Drive is a cloud-based file storage system that allows you to create, edit, store and share documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. 
You can access these items anywhere through the internet.

Google Docs

Google Docs can be used alongside, or as an alternative to MS Word

You can upload existing documents into the Drive to edit and share, or you can start from scratch, creating a document with many of the same capabilities available through MS Word.

Google Sheets

Google Sheets can be used alongside, or as an alternative to MS Excel

You can upload existing spreadsheets into the Drive to edit and share, or you can start from scratch, creating a spreadsheet with many of the same capabilities available through MS Excel.

Google Slides
