Jeremy Kearns-Watts

Library Assistant

I joined the University of Suffolk in June 2021, and I work as a Library Assistant on Sundays, Monday evenings, and Tuesday mornings. I love being amongst the books, so at any opportunity I will be in the stacks; fetching reservations, returning items, or just tidying them up! Before joining UoS I worked in retail for a number of years, previous to that I was a Special Constable in the London Borough of Hackney and a Learning Support Assistant at a High School. I grew up in London and attended university there, I read the Study of Religions at SOAS and Comparative English Literature: American Literature and Culture at Goldsmiths.

A few fun facts, usually I'll cycle in, but if the weather is too bad, I'll probably have turned up in my terrible 20-year-old Japanese sports car; and I once slept through a 6.2 magnitude earthquake.
