For the last few years I have worked as part of the front of house team at the Library, a job I thoroughly enjoy. One of my key attributes for the post is that I am totally enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring learning. I love knowledge and learning to satisfy my curiosity and enjoy engaging with people to share my enthusiasm.
My main job is at Suffolk New College where I work as a LSA in IT & Math’s and occasional relief IT lecturer. I am passionate about Math’s! I love working with the students and helping them achieve academically to their best potential. I watch them develop, learn new skills and gain confidence as they progress through their courses.
My previous career started in University Museums. I studied at Newcastle University and read Archaeology (specializing in the Romans) and worked at the Museum of Antiquities based in the department. As a Research Associate at Newcastle University, I was responsible for Corbridge Housesteads and Chester Museums. I later worked at the Hunterian Museum at Glasgow University with Professor Mackie on Leckie Broch, assisting with artefact research for the site excavation report.
