Anna Nunn

Graduate Trainee Librarian

I was successfully appointed to the post of Graduate Trainee Librarian in August 2019. This role was created to give an aspiring Librarian the opportunity to learn about the information sector in a practical, professional setting. I will complete a postgraduate qualification in Librarianship as part of my traineeship, starting September 2020.

I am currently responsible for supervising the Library helpdesk and front of house team. However, I'll learn more about the various roles and responsibilities of a Librarian in an academic library as I progress throughout my traineeship.

I graduated from the University of East Anglia in July 2018 with a degree in English Literature. While studying, I was an occasional Library and Information Advisor with Suffolk Libraries, working mostly in Ipswich County Library. After graduating, I joined the Department of Library and Learning Services in my first role as a Library Assistant. Shortly thereafter I was seconded into the post of Library Service Assistant.
