The conference dinner will take place at Bistro on the Quay along the tranquil waterfront marina in Ips
wich. Join us at Bistro on the Quay at 6pm on Thursday 26th June, for an evening of wonderful food and the awards ceremony to celebrate excellence in Block learning and teaching.

We have the following award categories. Applications may be made at an individual or team-basis (2-10 individuals). It is also possible to nominate a colleague for one of these awards.
This award recognises the commitment of academics to block and / or intensive-based pedagogies, who have delivered significant enhancements to the learning experience, achievement or employment outcomes for students.
The early career award acknowledges the outstanding contributions of academics who are early career academics (less than 3 years in practice) who have demonstrated their commitment to and understanding of block and / or intensive-based pedagogies and the positive impacts for their students.
Block and / or intensive based modes of learning and teaching often have active learning approaches embedded into curriculum design and delivery. This award recognises innovative practices developed or adopted by academics and professional services in their work with students.
The pedagogical research award acknowledges contributions to the advancement of block and intensive modes of learning and teaching. Individual and team-based submissions will be considered.
This award recognises the best poster presented at the IBILTA 2025 Transforming Education Conference. This award is voted for by conference delegates.
This award recognises an outstanding contribution to the block and intensive learning and teaching community for the advancement of the pedagogy, innovation, or leadership.
