We love our county and everything it has to offer, but it also close to some other beautiful places to visit before or after the conference. Here are some of our suggestions.
With ancient towns, beautiful coastline, rolling countryside and and the Sutton Hoo Anglo Saxon royal burial ground, Suffolk has something for everyone.
The neighbouring county of Norfolk is home to the lovely city of Norwich, as well as beautiful stretches of sandy beaches.
Just over one hour from Ipswich by train, a day trip or over night stay in this beautiful city will give you ight of some of the worlds' oldest seats of learning.
You can be in London in just an hour from Ipswich, if you get the fast train. You can explore the sights and theatre district or hop on the Euro Star to Paris, Amsterdam and beyond.
