From January 2021 we will be running a pilot of the BibliU eTextbook platform, to allow us to provide additional online resources. For this pilot we are providing access to selected titles that have been identified as essential on reading lists.
For more help with using BibliU, visit their student support pages.
If you are a member of staff and would like to know more about BibliU and our pilot project, please contact your Learning & Teaching Librarian.
BibliU has a range of accessibility features available, such as:
Please note that some of these features are only available in the desktop version of the BibliU app.
More information on these features and more can be found on the BibliU support pages.
Navigate to bibliu.com and under "Login through your university" search for University of Suffolk. You will then be able to log in with your university username and password.
As well as accessing BibliU through your browser, you can download the app to your device and use this to browse and read. If you want to download or read books offline you will need to download the app. For more information on downloading the app you can visit the BibliU website.
On the homepage you will see available titles, and can browse from there. Alternatively, search for the book by its title in the search box at the top of the screen. You can also search for keywords and see where they appear in the books in your library.
To access a book, simply click on the cover. This will open the book and take you to the table of contents.
You can then browse the book by scrolling, using the links in the contents to navigate straight to a chapter or select a page number to go to.
Here are a selection of help videos from BibliU to assist you in using this platform.
