Academic book week ran from April 23rd – April 28th 2018, this year the theme was 20 Books by Women that Changed the world, you can see the full list here https://acbookweek.com/20booksbywomenthatchangedtheworld/  and many titles can be found on the shelves or in electronic format here in the library.

Over the week Learning Services staff tweeted about the 20 books and where to find more information about each title.

As well as promoting these titles we also highlighted the significant contribution that has been made by our own talented (female) academics, this included publications from Louise Carter, Jessica Clark, Ruth Strudwick, Sarah Richards and Alison Boggis.

At the end of the week Reni Eddo-Lodge’s Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race was voted to be the most influential title from the 20 Academic Book Week selected titles

We always love to have copies of your publications in the library and can help you research so please let your Academic Liaison Librarian know or talk to the help desk about how they can get hold of material not held in the library for you.
