The collection at University of Suffolk Bury St. Edmunds consists of both physical resources, books and print journals, available in the Bury St. Edmunds Library, and electronic resources, e-books & e-journals.
In selecting items for our collection, we receive reading lists from tutors, monitor publisher catalogues, and welcome stock suggestions and feedback. We review the collection annually to ensure that the materials continue to reflect the needs of our staff and students, and are in good condition.
Subject guides provide information on the areas of book stock, and key journals and databases for each subject area.
The library holds approximately 28,000 printed volumes and 100 print journal titles. There are many more 1000's of electronic resources e-books and journals available via Summon.
As well as our print collection of journals which are available in the library (current issues) and the quiet study room (archive) students also have access to a vast range of e-journals through full-text databases. These can all be searched via the Summon search tool.
