For students based at our Ipswich campus, all 1 and 3-week loans will automatically renew for up to one year unless they have been reserved by another user, or there is another issue on your account.
If your item has been requested by another user, your loan will not auto renew; you will receive an email to your student/staff account prompting you to return the item as soon as possible. We cannot extend loan periods when an item is reserved, excepting situations where students/staff are experiencing extenuating circumstances.
Other patron types will be able to renew their loans but must do so manually via their library account on the “Checkouts” screen.
