For this task you will need some papers or a slide deck - you can use your own if you have some to hand, or you can scroll down to download our example ones below.
1. Go to Knowt and create a free account.
2. Select the "create" option on the home screen and upload a paper.
3. Select "flashcards" on the next screen and then the type of flashcards you want to create (regular, fill in the blank, question and answer).
4. Optionally, you can customise the answers, add images, etc.
5. Select "save and create" to create the deck. In the "learn" mode you can now practice with your flashcards.
6. Go to Jungle.ai and create a free account.
7. Upload a paper, a Powerpoint, or even a Youtube video link on the home screen.
8. Screen the questions and hit "create".
9. (You might wish to review a summary outline first to make sure the questions and answers make sense)
10. Start practicing!
11. Once you've reviewed both tools, make a list of things you like and dislike about each one.
12. Discuss as a group how tools like these could help you develop your study skills and support your learning.
13. Evaluate the ethical and legislative considerations you might have to account for before using tools like this.
