AI tasks: Managing time

Time management

1. Spend a few minutes testing the prompts provided in a generative AI tool of your choice.

3. Go to Goblin Tools and explore MagicToDo and Compiler.

  • MagicToDo – add some large tasks and press the blue magic wand icon to break the task down (you can choose the level how much the tasks are broken down by choosing the number of chillies accordingly)
  • Compiler – type in a braindump of tasks and things you have going on (or think to a past time when you had lots to do) and hit “turn into tasks”

4. Watch the below video about how organisation tools like Notion can help you manage your time.

5. Compare your experiences with each of the three tools - what you do you like and dislike about each one?

6. Discuss the pros and cons of using AI for time management.

7. Consider whether you would utilise AI for managing your time in the future. If so, which tool(s) are you most likely to use?

1. Break this project into smaller, actionable tasks with deadlines: [describe project].

2. Suggest ways to minimise distractions and avoid time-wasting activities during study sessions.

3. Create a personalised study schedule for the next [insert timeframe] in which I need to complete [list tasks and deadlines]. Prioritise tasks based on difficulty and upcoming deadlines, ensuring balanced study sessions. Incorporate review time for previously learned material and schedule short breaks to maximise focus. The plan should be realistic and flexible, avoiding burnout while maintaining steady progress.
