Learning materials and module information is available to our apprentices via the University's learning environment, Brightspace, as well as through traditional face-to-face methods. Our approach to learning and teaching will encourage apprentices to become self-motivated, independent learners capable of directing their own study, whilst maintaining the academic rigor and quality expected of undergraduate study.
Our approach to blended learning design is informed by the definition of the Higher Education Academy, that it "combines face to face and online learning activities in a seamless and complementary flow of learning" . We seek to make learning which is information light - but action heavy, fostering a culture of curious learning, motivated to discover learning, apply theory to practice, but also practice to theory.
