The Library Building is open 08.30am to 08.30pm Monday to Friday, and 9.00am to 05.00pm on weekends. Please note that our live chat service is not in operation after 8.00pm on weekdays, and 4.30pm on weekends.
Our opening times change during national holidays. Excluding the below closure dates, we operate a limited service from 09.00am to 05.00pm on bank holidays. The Library Helpdesk will be unavailable. Students and staff are welcome to utilise study spaces and facilities as normal; print resources can be loaned via the self-service kiosks.
Unexpected library closure outside of these times will be updated below and advertised on our social media channels and Google Business account.

Study spaces are available in the Waterfront Building 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Please note that the main entrance can be accessed 06.00am to 10.00pm. To enter the building outside of these hours, use your authorised student/staff ID card to enter via the rear entrance on Coprolite Street.
