Visit the Library: Car & Bicycle Parking

Car Parking

University of Suffolk students and staff have access to several designated car parks on campus. It is essential to prominently display a valid parking permit at all times. Additionally, if you are making a quick stop, there is a convenient 30-minute drop-off bay located on Long Street outside the main car park.

The available car parks for university members include:

  • Long Street university car park
  • The Wharf car park
  • Athena Hall car park

Operating hours for each car park are clearly indicated at their respective locations. For further details, you can find more information here.

Please be aware that all car parks are managed by Ipserv, an external provider. For any inquiries or assistance, you can contact Ipserv via email at enquiries@ipserv.co.uk or by calling 01473 432222. To learn more about Ipserv, you can visit their website.

Further Information

All students and staff members must obtain a car parking permit to park in any of the university's designated car parks. Your valid permit must be visibly displayed at all times while parking on campus.

External visitors can utilise the Duke Street car park, or another car park managed by Ipswich Borough Council.

In all university car parks, there are designated parking bays specifically allocated for individuals holding blue badges. It is important to note that although blue badge holders are exempt from parking fees, they must still hold a valid student or staff parking permit.

If you are an external library user with a blue badge, we kindly request that you contact the library team at learningservices@uos.ac.uk for assistance in identifying a suitable parking location.
