What is the purpose of a poster?
Unlike typical writing assignments involving essay writing or literature reviews, posters allow you to present your research projects, writing, or developing work in a more visually attractive way.
Often displayed and presented at academic and professional conferences, posters serve to visually communicate a message and engage colleagues (audience) in stimulating conversation and discussion.

You may be asked to create a poster as an assignment, however, it is worth considering your work as both an opportunity to promote your academic activities and self, as well as receive beneficial feedback from peers.
