Library support for researchers

Training Sessions: one-to-ones and Workshops

University of Suffolk library provides support to Early Careers researchers, post-docs, research fellows, research-active academic staff, and PhD students. This includes 1:1 sessions providing dedicated training on common topics such as:

  • best practice in Discovery and database searching;
  • research data management;
  • understanding and using publication metrics,
  • decolonizing search;
  • searching grey literature.

Bespoke training and general library inductions are also available. To request an appointment, email the Research Support Librarian with a brief description of what support you are looking for.

The library also provides regular workshops as part of the Research Development Programme. The calendar can be accessed here.
