Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is an application that helps you and the university stay connected and share files—all in one place. By using Microsoft Teams, you will be able to view and manage files created in Office 365 and share them with peers and staff.

This guide will help you get started with Microsoft Teams.

On the menu, you can access guidance on:

  • How to access Microsoft Teams

  • How to use Microsoft Teams

  • Support for Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams has a number of features:

  • Chat: You can chat 1-2-1 or as a group: allowing you to collaborate and connect easily.

  • Meetings: See everything you’ve got lined up for the day or week. Or, schedule a meeting. Microsoft Teams syncs with your Outlook calendar.

  • Calls: You can speak to peers and University staff on Teams. For example, you can have a video chat with Library and Learning Services to discuss academic skills and information literacy.

  • Attachments: Access shared team documents and be able to edit and share with peers and staff 24/7.
