Development and Enhancement: Digipath

The Digipath Series

The DigiPath is a core training program designed to support you in developing skills in creating and delivering engaging, active blended learning using the Brightspace learning environment.

We appreciate that academic teaching staff and professional services or learning support staff have slightly different approaches in how they use Brightspace. Therefore, the pathways have been tailored to accommodate all types of roles with the relevant signposting.

The DigiPath is aligned with our Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy and showcases active blended learning as your primary teaching model.

The DigiPath is also aligned with the Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023). This is a comprehensive set of professional standards and guidelines for everyone involved in teaching and supporting learning in Higher Education (HE).

  • DigiPaths 1-3 are aligned with Associate Fellow
  • DigiPaths 4-5 are aligned with Fellowship
  • DigiPaths 6-7 are aligned with Senior Fellow

These pathways are relevant to both Academic and Professional Services staff.
