Educational Development Team

The Educational Development and Innovation Team  work to support you in the intentional design of your learning in Brightspace, our Online Learning Environment, and in effective use of learning technologies more widely. You can visit them in the Learning Innovation Hub in the Library, or book on to any of their workshops, found in the CPD calendar.

Engagement & Belonging

The purpose of Engagement & Belonging at the University of Suffolk is to provide the support, guidance, and resources across the entire student journey to enable success. This begins with aspiration raising by supporting individuals from all backgrounds so they can access, succeed, and progress into higher education. As our students transition into higher education our role is to foster their sense of belonging and remove barriers for engagement. From induction into their studies we collaborate closely with our student communities and academic and professional services colleges, centring student voices, feedback and experiences to help us continually improve their academic journey.

The Quality Enhancement Team

The Quality Enhancement Team work to help you to make your learning, teaching and assessment the best it can be through support in curriculum design, understanding learner data, applying for fellowship of AdvanceHE via the PASSPoRT scheme and in the provision of continuing professional development. 

The CELT Research Centre brings together researchers across the University. Our areas of research focus include widening access and social mobility, pedagogic innovation and practice-based education. CELT also has dedicated research staff supporting the centre's work to deliver excellence in education and to meet our access and participation plan targets.
