The Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching offers support, leadership and guidance relating to all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment at the University of Suffolk.
Our teams work with colleagues across the University to develop academic practice, and enhance the experience of our students. We work with senior leaders to develop learning and teaching policy. We collaborate with our professional services colleagues to ensure that our provision meets and exceeds the expectations of regulatory bodies.
We have developed a range of professional development opportunities in relation to academic practice, through defined professional pathways, AdvanceHE Fellowship and one-off workshops. We also run a half day Learning and Teaching Forum focussed on our Access and Participation work, and a full day summer conference to explore pedagogy and enable the showcasing of good practice from across our institution.
Our teams
The Centre for Excellence teams include Access and Participation, Learning Design, Quality Enhancement, Student Experience and Engagement and the Technicians and Technical Learning Instructors who work in each of our academic Schools.
