Brightspace on Libguides

Brightspace is the Online Learning Environment (OLE) used by the University of Suffolk. It has been in use at the university since September 2018.

In these pages on LibGuides, you will find links to a range of support materials, such as our PDF tutorials. As well as this, there are links to book training sessions with a member of the Digital Learning team, and instructions about how to access support if you encounter an issue.

Brightspace was created by a Canadian company called 'D2L', formerly 'Desire to Learn'.

Feel free to work your way through the information presented in this LibGuide or alternatively we have create our own introduction to Brightspace with our - DigiPath 1 - Brightspace and the Online Learning Environment  which you will automatically have access to as a staff member. This will run you through all of the basic functionality to get you going with your modules and the new block and blend approach to learning and teaching. More information about these new changes can be found on the Guidance for block learning design page.

You can click the Brightspace logo on the left at any point to be taken to the login page for Brightspace at the University of Suffolk.
