How To Annotate or Add Notes to Your Uploaded Panopto Video
Once you have recorded your video and are happy with your submission, you can go back and add notes to the dicsussion area of you video if that is required in your assignment.
- Go to your module, click on the Assessment tab, then choose Assignments from the dropdown menu.
- You will see the number of submissions you have made for the assignment under the 'Completion Status' column. Click on the link here to view your video submissions.
- These will usually be set up for the most recent video to be submitted. This will appear at the top of the list if you have submitted more than video. You can check that you are looking at the most recent submission by looking at the 'Date Submitted'.
- In the video player you will see a small arrow pointing to the top right. This will allow you to 'Watch in Panopto'. Click this and you will be taken to the Panopto viewer for your video.
- Click on the 'Discussion' tab and you will see a box where you can 'Post a public comment'. Here you can enter comments that your lecturer will be able to see. Your comments will be time-stamped according to where in the video you make them. Be sure NOT to use the 'Notes' tab as these are private to you.
- Your comments are saved automatically. When you have made all the comments you want to, you can close the window/tab.
