Panopto Student Submission Guide - Uploading a Video

If you have recorded a video for an assignment and have been asked to submit it in Panopto, this guide will help you to do that. You may have made a video in PowerPoint and want to upload this for your assignment. Or you may have recorded your video in another way. We will go though the steps to submit your video.

1. Go to the assignment in your module and click on it. 
2. This will open up the submission area. 
3. Click the ‘Insert Stuff’ icon. 
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu that pops up.  
5. Select ‘Student Video Submission (Panopto)'.
6. In the next window you will see the Panopto options. To upload your video, click on the ‘Upload’ tab. 
7. Here you will be able to drag your video file into the submission box, or browse for the file. 
8. Once you select your file it will start uploading.
9. When it has uploaded you will be able to ‘Insert’ it into the preview window.
10. Here you can preview and verify that you have uploaded the correct video. When you are happy that you have uploaded the correct video you can ‘Insert’ the video into your submission. 
11. You will then see your video in the submission area. 
12. You can now submit your assignment. 
13. You will see the submission confirmation. 
14. If you go back to the Assessment screen you will see that your submission has been recorded.
