Learner Data and Analytics

Led by Aaron Burrell, Associate Director Digital Learning and Innovation

Scope

This task and finish group will build on work in previous years to implement and test a learner analytics platform for the University. It will work to establish a robust model for the collation of a range of learner data while exploring the best way to make this data transparent and accessible for a range of stakeholders and purposes.

Outputs

Expected outputs from this group are:

  • the development of a robust and tested model for the collation, presentation and analysis of learner data,
  • the development of a University policy for the measurement and monitoring of learner engagement including the appropriate use of interventions,
  • the development of approaches for curriculum design which are data driven,
  • the development of resources and information to help students understand the impact of their own learning and engagement behaviours.
