FdA Health and Wellbeing (Assistant Practitioner) Reading Lists: On placement / In practice

Help available placement or in practice

On placement or in practice

Although you may be away from university on placement for several weeks or month at a time you will still need to access and use library resources in order to support your research.

For help with literature searching while you are on placement use one of the following guides:

Athens logins

While on placement you are eligible to sign up for an NHS Athens login which will give you access to online databases and resources additional to those available through the UoS Library.

TIP!  Although UoS resources are sufficient for you to successfully complete your studies they are only available as long as you are a student at University of Suffolk. Athens resources can be used in practice once you have finished your course to help you make clinical decisions based on the best evidence (evidence based healthcare)

Take advantage of the wide range of online resources available through the UoS library.
